The Longhorn Ballroom has been meticulously restored and offers high touch modern conveniences, while preserving the authenticity of its long and storied history. With state-of-the-art production capabilities, original art and its distinctly Texas vibe, this one of a kind Ballroom is the premier place for private concerts, corporate events, charity fundraisers, convention gatherings, weddings, concerts, parties, and more.
Located one mile from the Dallas Convention Center, the Longhorn Ballroom sits on an approximately 6 acres site. Between the Ballroom, the Courtyard and the Backyard, we can accommodate events from 50-5000 people.
The Longhorn Ballroom indoor space has four distinct gathering areas under one roof that can collectively host up to 2000 guests. Proprietor's is the most exclusive area where well curated spirits adorn the original bar with a speak-easy vibe. It is ideal for groups of 50 or less. The Gallery is ideal for 50 to 150 guests, who will have quick access through the separate gallery entrance and their own bar. Private access to the collection of original art and memorabilia couples well with Proprietors and is sure to make an impression. Guthrys, the area located immediately off the front entrance, is named after the R&B club located in the same location when the venue was divided into two spaces. With its own stage and a large bar, the area is ideal for stand-alone events of 150- 500 people or as a reception area before the main event. The Ballroom is the main space with the historic stage, dance floor, suites, lights and sound. All other rooms are included with the Ballroom rental and is ideal for groups of 500-2000 guests.
